State of Mind Productions was built around a simple belief: the things we learn, build, and pass on should mean something.
We create books, tools, and resources designed to help people think more intentionally about their lives, steward what they have been given wisely, and build something worth passing on.
The subjects may change—from money and family to faith, purpose, personal growth, and legacy—but the underlying pursuit remains the same.

That is why State of Mind Productions is not interested in producing books simply to fill shelves.
We want to create work worth returning to—ideas worth thinking about, tools worth using, and stories worth carrying forward.

THE FOUNDER
Kyle Hilsberg
Kyle Hilsberg founded State of Mind Productions from a belief that some of the most important conversations in life extend far beyond any single profession.
His work in financial planning gave him a front-row seat to the decisions people make about money, retirement, family, responsibility, and the future. Over time, those conversations reinforced something he had learned much earlier: money is only one of the resources we are called to steward.
Experiences as a husband, father, business owner, and living organ donor further shaped that perspective. Questions about purpose, responsibility, faith, family, and what we ultimately leave behind became increasingly difficult to separate from questions about financial success.
Writing became a way to explore those ideas more fully. Your Future, Your State of Mind began with financial planning, but State of Mind Productions was created for the larger body of work that can grow from there.
Different subjects. Different stories. The same underlying pursuit: live intentionally, steward wisely, and build something worth passing on.
